E-Commerce Specialist

2.0 Job Summary
The Electronic Commerce Specialist position is responsible for sales and buying of all online items, electronic billing and payment options for the firm. As an e-commerce specialist, he is an expert in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales or conversions on a website.
3.0 Duties and Responsibilities
3.1 Ensures through his/her actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of work.
3.2 Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
3.3 Assisting with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages.
3.4 Ensuring that payment options and promotional tabs are configured correctly.
3.5 Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes.
3.6 Inspecting and uploading customers, manufacturer, factory, services & products reviews. (If needed).
3.7 Monitoring website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to site updates.
3.8 Scheduling and communicating intensive site maintenance, as needed.
3.9 Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and concomitant stock requirements.
3.10 Monitoring the day-to-day activity on the site and its overall performance to achieve goals like improving user experience, increasing website traffic and sales, and developing brand loyalty.
3.11 Research and report on business online
3.12 Analyze trends in business
3.13 Performs other related duties as required.
4.0 Education/Licensure
4.1 Essential: Bachelor Degree in e-commerce or any related field.
4.2 Desirable: Master in e-commerce or any related field.
4.3 Desirable: Recognized professional postgraduate qualification.
5.0 Professional Experience
5.1 Essential: Four (4) years’ experience in e-commerce.
6.0 Personal qualities/skills
6.1 Proven management and leadership skills.
6.2 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
6.3 Efficient in computer usage especially in (Office/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Access).
6.4 Marketing experience, knowledge in photography, photo & video editing, HTML, and WordPress are plus
6.5 Self-motivated and comfortable in dynamic fast moving organization
6.6 Analytical and sense for attention to detail
6.7 Strong writing skills
6.8 Eager about the role of technology in promoting business.
6.9 Knowledgeable about consumer preferences, particularly as these relate to e-commerce.
6.10 Unrivaled organizational, teamwork, and quality assurance skills.
6.11 Phenomenal market research skills.
