Sales Support Engineer

1. Specification and Technical ReviewnReview project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and concrete requirements. nIdentify concrete grades, quantities, slump requirements, durability requirements, cement types, admixtures, fibers, and other special requirements. nReview project specifications and identify technical requirements affecting pricing and concrete supply. nCoordinate with the technical and quality departments regarding special mix requirements. n2. BOQ Analysis and Quantity SurveyingnExtract and calculate concrete quantities from BOQs, drawings, and project documents. nPrepare quantity take-offs for different concrete grades and applications. nAnalyse quantities for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, pavements, and other structural elements. nIdentify discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and actual project requirements. nMaintain accurate records of estimated and supplied concrete quantities. n3. Sales SupportnProvide technical and commercial support to the Sales Team. nPrepare quotations based on project specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and commercial conditions. nAssist in analysing customer requirements and recommending suitable concrete products. nSupport sales engineers in preparing project proposals and tenders. nFollow up on quotations and assist in converting opportunities into confirmed orders. nPrepare project summaries and sales opportunity reports. nn4. Customer and Project CoordinationnCommunicate with contractors, consultants, quantity surveyors, procurement teams, and project engineers. nClarify technical and commercial requirements with customers. nSupport pre-construction meetings and project discussions. nCoordinate with batching plants, dispatch, technical, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are understood. nRequired QualificationsnBachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. n3–6 years of cumulative experience in Ready-Mix Concrete Sales, Quantity Surveying, Estimation, or Construction. nExperience in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry is highly preferred. nStrong knowledge of concrete grades, applications, specifications, and construction practices. nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications. nStrong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off. nRequired SkillsnReady-Mix Concrete technical knowledge. nBOQ analysis and quantity surveying. nConcrete quantity estimation. nConstruction drawing and specification review. nQuotation and tender preparation. nCustomer communication and sales support. nStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. nAnalytical and numerical skills. nGood communication and negotiation skills. nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines. nStrong coordination skills with sales, technical, production, dispatch, and operations teams.
