Job Summary: The individual in this position will be responsible for inspecting vehicle readiness and ensuring that all necessary maintenance is conducted in a timely manner

S/he must comply with the organization�s policies and procedures، as well as relevant government regulations

Key

Clean and inspect the vehicle daily to ensure it is in good working condition before every trip

Safely drive CRS staff and visitors each day، always ensuring that all passengers wear seat belts

Strictly adhere to traffic regulations and report any accidents to your immediate supervisor

Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel (at least one-quarter tank) before starting your trip and obtain a vehicle request prior to departure

Regularly contact the office via cell phone to report your location، destination، and any other relevant information

Assist with bill payments and be sure to obtain receipts، invoices، tickets، and any other necessary documentation as required

Help with vehicle registration and insurance renewal

Aid in loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Ensure that passengers complete the required information in the logbook regarding their trip، including fund and project codes، and sign it

If the replacement driver does not show up for duty، continue working until the Head Driver makes further arrangements

Secondary school certificate is required

Proficient in spoken English and Arabic

Hold a valid Sudanese driving license

Have at least Four years of driving experience، preferably with NGOs

Possess a good knowledge of basic mechanics and familiarity with spare parts

Required Languages � English، Arabic advantage

Travel � Regular travels within and outside of Madani as per requests

Ability to plan، organize and prioritize work
