Requirements & Qualifications

• SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Education level (if relevant) and experiences expected: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in humanitarian WASH programming with ACF or another international NGO

• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of humanitarian WASH standards، including Sphere and WHO guidelines

• Solid project cycle management skills

• Strong analytical، assessment، monitoring، and reporting skills

• Transversal skills: Excellent report writing and communication skills

• Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills

• Managerial skills: Demonstrated team leadership and management experience

• Staff coaching، mentoring، and capacity-building skills

• Strong planning، prioritization، and organizational skills

ACF has been operational in Yemen since 2012 and currently operates in four bases: Aden، Hodeida، Al Khokha، and Sana’a

The country office implements activities centered on fours main sectors: Nutrition and Health، Water، Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)، Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)، and Food Security and Livelihoods

Experience in project management، water infrastructure rehabilitation، sanitation systems، and hygiene promotion

Experience in emergency and development WASH programming is desirable

Experience in designing and supervising water supply and sanitation infrastructure projects

Proposal development، budgeting، and donor reporting experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications، particularly Excel، Word، and PowerPoint

Understanding of MEAL and accountability mechanisms

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Professionalism and accountability

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability

Ability to work under pressure in a challenging humanitarian context

Flexibility، creativity، and initiative

Commitment to ACF values and humanitarian principles

Ability to manage teams fairly، impartially، and effectively

Ability to foster teamwork and maintain staff motivation

Languages: English: Professional working proficiency (written and verbal)

Arabic: Native or fluent proficiency
