JOB VACANCY: MECHANICAL WORKSHOP ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workshop activities، manpower، schedules and equipment.
- Liaise with clients، understand
- Supervise turning، lathe and milling، precision machining، welding، fabrication، maintenance and repair work.
- Read engineering drawings and ensure work meets technical specifications.
- Prepare BOMs، estimate materials، labour and machining hours، and support quotations.
- Monitor job progress، solve operational issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure QA/QC، HSE and safe working practices، inspect completed work.
- Maintain job records and prepare technical، costing and progress reports for management.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant industrial mechanical workshop experience (mandatory).
- Practical experience in metal turning، lathe/milling machines، precision machining، welding، fabrication and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Workshop/team supervision، planning and industrial site coordination experience.
- Knowledge of BOMs، cost estimation، QA/QC and HSE.
- Good command of MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and relevant operational software.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
- Must currently live in Oman. Valid Resident Card، transferable visa/NOC and Oman driving licence are preferred.
- Free furnished accommodation، including electricity، water، internet and maintenance.
- Company vehicle for work duties.
- Work visa provided.
- Annual flight ticket.
- Assistance with obtaining a driving licence، if required.
- 6 working days per week، 8 hours per day.
