Job Summary

The Sr.IT Technicians will operate and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure that the concerned people get the most effective IT functionality. Some of their main duties and responsibilities include:

IT Technician Key Responsibilities:

Installation of new H.W (Servers, Printers, Desktops, Laptops, POS, PDTs)
Setting up users’ accounts based on their roles.
Installation of security software (Antiviruses)
Installation of software applications.
Installation of Operating system.
Testing and verification of Backup devices and backups.
Fixing of Hardware and network devices and applications.
Assurance of users’ access to their authorized systems and applications.
Technical training for system usage to end users.
PDT’s applications and hardware handling.
POS machines o/s, Antiviruses, users’ access, and peripherals testing and maintenance.
Biometric devices for access control handling.
All security devices handling including Sensor Matic antennas, deactivators, etc.
UPS handling.
Any other task may be dedicated to you by your line manager.
Requirement & Qualification:
Proven work experience in IT support or IT technician roles of more than 3 years.
Associate degree or advanced apprenticeship in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
In-depth knowledge of Windows, hardware, troubleshooting, and network operating systems
Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
Problem-solving skills
Technical documentation skills
Organizational and interpersonal skills

Location: Based in Tripoli – Libya
Salary: based on interview.
Travel: Ability to travel inside Libya
Working hours: 09:00 am to 4:00 pm (working hours may be extended according to business needs)
