We’re hiring Logistic Manager for our client in Sharjah, UAE.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the import and export process, including documentation, custom clearance, shipping, and logistics coordination.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations, including but not limited to customs requirements, trade agreements, and export controls.
• Manage the company’s interface using customs authorities.
• Keep abreast with relevant import and export regulations, tariffs, embargoes, and trade sanctions imposed by various countries and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain organize and auditable records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other service providers.
• Continuously evaluate and improve import and export processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, sales, Finance, and other regulatory authorities to ensure smooth coordination of import and export activities.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on import/export requirements, regulations, and logistics considerations Requirements:
• Candidate must have minimum of 810 years experience in Freight Management specifically in the UAE Freezone
• Should have experience in Africa, Europe & USA Market is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and International Shipping Practices
• In-depth understanding of global customs regulations, trade compliance, and documentation requirements
