Job Description.
The procurement officer, or what is known as the procurement manager, is the person responsible for all procurement operations that take place within the company or organization, whether they are goods, goods, or services.
A purchasing officer is a business expert who conducts a study on the best way to purchase products and services so that they can make informed judgments on behalf of their company. Because their purchasing decisions on items such as raw materials, real estate, and even office supplies affect the overall spending numbers for the entire organization, they are directly related to the company’s success. They may focus on developing cost reduction strategies which they may apply to all categories of purchasing as a result.

Overseeing the daily operations of purchasing operations.
Develop and improve purchasing strategies and implement them.
Monitor and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, agreements, schedules and prices.
Inventory follow-up and inventory management and requirements.
Maintain papers, records and documents related to purchasing, in addition to the database containing supplier information.
Ensure that everything obtained complies with the necessary requirements and quality standards.
Educate and guide new employees in the proper use of the procurement system and the procurement process.

Ability to organize, plan and build new strategies.
The ability to negotiate and make agreements and have critical thinking skills.
Speed of communication, whether orally or in writing.
Proficiency in languages other than the native language
Proficiency in the use of Office programs.
Able to work individually, independently or as part of a team.
Speed in making the right decisions.
Gain good driving skills.
The possibility of preparing reports and studies related to the purchasing department.
Familiarity with all contract drafting procedures.
