Position Duties
The successful candidate will possess more than 10 years of experience in pavement engineering/pavement management. Duties of this position will include design flexible and rigid pavement structures, prepare maintenance and rehabilitation design reports, perform pavement management tasks, analyze pavement performance data (such as deflection, roughness, distress, …, etc.), prepare design documents and AutoCad drawings and prepare construction related documents (such as Method Statement, materials specifications, etc.).
Experience with database management, advanced use of MS Access and Excel, GIS, PMS and AMS software and any programming languages would be an advantage.
The successful candidate shall be able to work independently, be able to multi-task and make prompt and appropriate decisions. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities are a must.
Education
An engineering degree is required. A master’s degree with specialization in pavement/asset management or pavement engineering is desired. Computer literacy is essential.
Those with lesser experience and/or qualifications may be considered for other positions within the project team.
