Marketing Manager – FMCG
Job Objective:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our FMCG products in the regional distribution market. They will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated into the overall business strategy.
Product Marketing:
Oversee product launches and manage the product life cycle.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Brand Management:
Maintain and strengthen the brand image in the region.
Develop branding and communication strategies.
Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.
Digital Marketing:
Manage the company’s online presence, including the website and social media channels.
Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to reach the target audience.
Analyze digital marketing metrics to optimize online performance.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing support.
Develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and sales tools.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in driving sales.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the marketing budget.
Ensure cost-effective marketing strategies.
Monitor and analyze marketing expenses against ROI.
Technical Competencies:
Market Research: Strong skills in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to make informed decisions.
Digital Marketing: Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
Product Management: Experience in product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
Brand Management: Ability to develop and maintain a strong brand identity and execute brand-building strategies.
Data Analysis: Proficient in using data analytics tools to measure and analyze marketing performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue Growth: Measure the increase in sales and revenue attributed to marketing efforts.
Market Share: Monitor the organization’s market share within the region.
Brand Awareness: Assess brand recognition and awareness levels among target customers.
Digital Engagement: Track website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates.
Customer Satisfaction: Measure customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback.
Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA): Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns by calculating CPA.
Return on Investment (ROI): Calculate the ROI for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration is a plus.
Proven experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
Previous experience of 10 years in the FMCG industry or regional distribution is highly desirable.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Result-oriented with a focus on achieving revenue targets and KPIs.
